I sat in front of the mirror on my closet door. I just sat there for at least an hour and probably more. I just starred at myself, finally I said out loud, “Stand Up…stand up now…take only 1 bag and leave fast.” I had heard someone talking about a counseling service out of a church in my small home town. I drove straight there and they took me in. I cannot share my place, it is gone now. That was over 25 years ago, but I will search and post as I find safe havens.
